A Weird Sweet Dream

I love day dreaming a lot and of course will dream when i sleep...however on 28 jan...dreamt that my Hubby bought me a pregnancy kit to test and the result was positive...in the dream (unlike reality) he is happy that he's becoming a Dad soon.

When i woke up, i find it a weird dream cos personally didn't want to be Mummy so early as we are still enjoying our 二人世界 therefore subconciously i've not thought of pregnancy at all. Probably it's the stress from relative (when we 拜年) to urge me to give birth faster.

How i wish i could dream of 4 digit number,wake up, buy and strike 4D...Heehee...

Mother-in-law birthday celebration..

Parent-in-law has organised there once a year Family dinner at Raffles Country club. The highlight of this event is the dish - Budda Jump over the Wall aka 佛跳墙. What a delicacy! Saliva dipping as i think of this dish.

Seated beside me was Kwa family little Princess - Henna who has an appetite that could be of my match...well for your information she is only 7 years old this year. She is very well behave and mannered. Everything went on smooth when she say :

" San shen, can i share the O ni (Yam Paste) with you?"
follow by (when she finished her share and i'm waited eagerly for mine)
"do you want it?if not can i finish it?it's yummy"
and of course my reply to her was..
"YES, my dear" (felt a pinch in my heart...cos i love Yam Paste and there's no more, what to do she's so irresistible)

The red wine provided by my father-in-law was of my liking how i wish i could use drink red wine every day which is a boast to health and beauty.

2 more weeks before the next family gathering...Chinese New Year!
I feel so full after the dinner and enjoy the family gathering.

It's a GIRL...(no no i'm not pregnant hor)

After 4 months of long wait, Mrs Khoo (my other close gf) sms me to share the good new that her baby is a GIRL....before her scan I have speculate that she is expecting a boy as she prefer eating meal than vegetables...(well after gathering feedback from my colleagues from my company who has been pregnant before, i made this assumption...well proven not 100% accurate.)

According to Mrs Khoo, her baby is developing well except being a bit small so i guess it's time she should meet up with me and Ying for more buffet feasting session..few so excited that her baby will arrive on Ying's birthday.

Heehee i love girl girl...how i wish in future i will expect a girl girl then can go shopping and play doll doll w her.

Mrs Khoo do remember to EAT more ok...

The BEST pig stomach soups i ever have in my life

What's better to have a delicious meal after a hard day of work. My mother-in-law cooks Pig Stomach soup for the family as dinner main course. There are pig stomach( of cos the main actor of the soup), sea cucumber, chicken meal and ABALONE. I would say it's the best pig stomach soups i ever had (i believe even famous chef are not of her match).

Envy right?

Xmas celebration

Date: 26 December 2008 (Boxing Day)

Time: 7pm onwards

Venue: The Central

2009 is approaching in 5 days times and before we move on to 2009 it's time to meet up with close friend to celebrate this joyful season...

Let's start off with dinner at Ma-Maison, a Japanese cooked food restaurant...i have made a reservation 1 week prior to this dinner so i would say the food is delicious however the service not up to our expectation.

We order house salad, cheese fritter and escargot as appetiser.

I always love rice...so I order Pork cutlet set meal and i would say we simply love their miso soup and i love the rice and cutlet...very filling hor...i finish the whole bowl of rice.Now look at Wat the rest of my gf ordered...

Goh Phing (the lady who are not choosy over food) ordered Shrimp cream paste pasta...well not so much for me as i love tomato base pasta.

Being the most adventurous among us, Xueying order a avocado burger and i was very nice...look at her greedy face...cutie cutie.

Lastly, our Peggy Wenqi ordered a egg rice with beef (sorry can't remember the exact name of the dish)...well like the taste of the rice mixed with egg but no so much of the beef.

After our main course, we will given a key (the one I'm holding) to bring to the cashier for payment...it's so cute so i decided to use the key to unlock some "dark" secret of Xueying from her mouth...heehee

We decided to head off somewhere for dessert and drink as nothing much to venture in Ma-Maison...on our way this red wall caught my eye and i ask Ying(who's a bit reluctant to join me for photo taking)
