Honeymoon Hokkaido - 17 November 2008

Lake Akan

This lake is outside our hotel therefore decided to take some picture after the breakfast ;0)

For the sake of phototaking, we told out or Don feather to look slimmer ;0) despite the cold weather and i'm shivering.

Lunch Time

We have Japanese cray pot rice as lunch...i finish all the rice and some of the tour mate was impressed by my appetite...*blush*
Sapporo Tanuikkoji
Shopping time!!!

Been a greedy Singaporean, i join in the queue to buy food promotion price only 10Yen which is like S$0.15.

Our linguistic tour guide.

JR Station
More shopping for blue label bag and Fancl stuff.
The background lighting too bright so we look very dark in the photo.

Dinner time (Teppanyaki) and Surprise party organized by our lovely tour guide

We pay 8000yen for a piece of Kobe beef to try and cook by their chef...it was very tender and juicy (for your information i don't really eat beef but i tried it and simply love it...)

Surprise surprise...the tour guide bought us a cake to celebrate for us as newly wed couple.

Everyone getting ready for Yam seng...so touched!

Honeymoon Hokkaido - 16 November 2008

Sounkyo Waterfall

Hubby playing snow again.

Fox Village
Dislike this place most as not only 3 fox to see.

Kushairo Swan Feeding
The swan is very big and they look very tasty.

Kushiro Cranes watching
We stop for a while to watch the crane...quite far away so didn't manage to snap a shot of the cranes. There is this old lady taking care of her venting machines and according to the tour guide this machine is paying her salary. Therefore as warm and compassionate Singaporean most of us bought drink from the machine. She is 82 years old still look strong and tough.

Nearby our hotel, there are shop selling marimo stuff...took some pictures

Tatami bedding and hot spring again...yupee...furthermore there's outdoor hot spring...i love it

Honeymoon Hokkaido - 15 November 2008 Part Two

Mt Kurodaka Asahikawa 大雪山

This is our favourite location throughout the whole trip as we love seeing and touching soft snow...forgotten to bring along syrup to make our ice kacang..we thought it will be cool if we could eat soft cream (Japanese call ice cream as soft cream) in zero Degree Celsius up there.
We reached the cable car station at 3.30pm. The cable car ride is about 5mins.
Pic taken at the base.

We took some photo inside the cable car.

Upon reaching the top...we start to play snow.

Dinner Time

We have ramen with our new friend Shi Hui and Chuan Hui. The food is very tasty and the best Ramen i ever taste.

Honeymoon Hokkaido - 15 November 2008 Part One

Lake Toya
As i opened my eye and take a morning glace from our tatami room window this is the view i capture..Can't you image this picture is taken through a glass window...the actual view is fantansic ;0)

We wore our Yukata (pyjamas) to have our breakfast in the hotel and went out of hotel to capture some nice view. For your information, we are only dressed in thin layer of Yukata and the temp is around 6 degree. I am freezing..BUT after looking at the picture taken..it's worth the chill.

My favourite fruit/food for breakfast..super sweet & juicy

Ishiya Chocolate Factory
Wow this remind me of the story book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when i'm on our way to the factory. We become a children when we reached this place.

My passport to enter the factory & welcome chocolate biscuit.
Hubby chopping his passport at the entrance.

Inside the Factory, they have a section for toy collection.

Icon of the Chocolate factory.

Outside the Chocolate factory...

Lunch Time

I alway look forward to have lunch, i guess due to the cold weather my fats burn faster so need to keep on eating and eating...the lunch was very healthy as it's steamboat vegetable and their japanese rice is very nice. I manage to finish the whole bowl of rice and wanted to ask for 2nd serving but paiseh.

The famous cream puff in Hokkaido (quite similar to Papa beard) trust me taste 10x better than Papa beard and cost only S$7 for 3. I ate one immediately after lunch and hubby commented that i was very greedy...;0p who's care!

End of Part One...
