11 more days before my BIG day

Times really past when i called Dear Dear yesterday to remind him that the storage bed and mattress will be delivered today. After 4 yrs 10mths plus of courtship, we are going to have our own bedding no more foldable mattress...Tomorrow and sunday we are going to finalize the wedding actual day programme and packed our winter luggage....(really hope that we could squeeze some times to watch The Coffin and have nacho...yum yum)

I am having mixed feeling right now, happy that i could be staying with Mr Kwa yet sad that i am leaving my comfort zone of being a 大小姐。Look like i have to wake up at 6.00am and leave home by 6.30am to catch a train at Aljuni MRT station.

Having bad cough and phlemgh for the past few days really hope i will recover before my BIG day..i am going to meet up my MCs (Goh Phing and Stanley) for discussion after work tonight.

GDL - Orange Squash

Guess what due to some miscommunication, my papa and mama bought these Orange squash...oh no all in plastic container...no nice ;0P anyway we will chill it for the guest on my AD tea ceremony to drink...heehee to clear our stocks.

Pre Marriage Camp

WOW...I received an invitation card from my sisters gang for my Hen's Party..so touched and excited..It state in the invitation card that I am invited to Pre Marriage Camp. The best part of all is that it will be filled with activities cos need to bring many attires for this event.

4 more days to survive before day & night out with my sisters gang.

Nap nap nap...I am very tired

3 more weeks before our BIG day...without fail our weekend is alway filled with "To do thing". It is so tiring and i long for nap..yes yes i have not be taking nap during weekend for a long time as we are busy in our prep. This weekend i give myself a break - 2 hours of nap for Sat and Sun..total 4hours of nap. Shiok shiok shiok...

Sunday

We went People Park Tian Po to source for my diamond gold pendent as part of the 四点金. I have chosen one simple Trilogy design. I am craving for stingray and sotong so we went to Chinatown market 昌记. Below are the snapshot taken before i touched the food.

Yupee bought new eye cream for my Panda eye cost $75 for 30ml...Pray hard it will work for me!

It all happened that one company vehicle has been stolen in JB..therefore i have to go back home to collect my passport then proceed to JB to make police report to claim insurance...my colleagues brought me to JB- Taman Sentosa for Claypot chicken rice and Fruit Rojak...it's yummy..Haha i manage to 吃霸王meal.

On our way back to Company, the car suddenly stop at the highway...reserve tank has been used up..haha..we are in the midst of HIGHWAY. I took picture as nothing to do while waiting for my colleague to buy some petrol back ;0)

The "Missing" ring

The "Missing" ring or should i call it the evil ring ??Well the ring that i'm refering to is my Celestial Triology ring (Proposal ring from Mr Kwa) ;0)
Without fail, this ring serve as a reminder for me to think of my dear every morning when i remove it from the box and put it on my monkey finger.

Should i call it the "Missing" ring or evil ring?? How i wish our wedding band will serve the same purpose in future for Mr Kwa.

Oop..I left out Ang Pao box

As i was drafting the Actual day programme, i realised that I did not prepare the most $ generating items of the night - The Ang Pao box. I'm not a person who are good at handicraft, friends who are received gift wrapped by me will know how good i'm when come to craft work. I decided to purchase Ang Pao boxes for my wedding dinner, i start sourcing online and was shock to find out that a simple box would cost $30+ and above. (Sample show below)

To prevent burning a hole in my pocket, i decided to make my own Ang Pao box.I will buy a love shape box from Daiso and decorate it with fur around the edge of the box. Pray hard that i will success in making my own Ang Pao Box!

Amore Women Day Out...Fun Fun Fun...

Being very kiasu, we registered for this event as early as Aug. Just wanted to gather a group of close friends and cousins to participate ;0) I must admit that I'm attracted to the goody bag and the event top sponsored by Elle.

We are kinda disappointed upon arrival at the venue where we could workout...too crowded, stuffy and poor trainer (for kickboxing and aerobic) however the instructor for Bellybilz is good.
Despite all the above, i still enjoy myself cos i would say it's the crowd that matter ;0)

My next aim is to participate in Shape run (5km) in 2009 and Great Eastern Run (10km) in 2009 to overcome my phobia in running.

Food Tasting cum Meet The Parent Session

Date : 12 October 2008

Time : 6.30pm to 9.15pm

Venue: Sze Chuan Dou Hua restaurant at Parkroyal at Beach Road

It all started off that everyone is staring at each other waiting for the table to be filled. Very quiet and awkward moment...however i have anticipate this as is the first time both parent are meeting each other. Being a sociable and entertainer i finally met my match as i don't know how to break the ice, so i joined in in the eye contact exercise too!

We waited 15mins for Zhiming (eldest bro of HTB) and Zhi Hua(2nd bro of HTB) to arrive before we could start the dinner. Upon the arrival of Zhiming, he become the informal facilitator for this food tasting event...we thanks God for his presence to ease the tension in the air. We discussed about the Guo Da Li stuff and my future Mother-in-law volunteer to purchase the girl side stuff for us. Save the trouble of me buying the wrong items.

As usual , the restaurant will serve big portion for every dish to impress us. To maintain my image, i stop at one portion instead of the usual two...heehee you know i love to eat!

Both family are impressed with the food served except that we make some minor changes in the menu. Dear Dear send us back home.

Phew!It's finally over...

The new family member of Kwa & Neo

我真倒霉！

It all started off with a pimple on the left side of my neck and being so concious freak how can i ignore it presence...I applied Pimple gel in the hope that it will decrease in size and ultimately disappear.

Days pass and it increase in size and territory instead of decreasing as i was busy with wedding prep that i choose to ignore it for the time being.

On Fri night, the itch on the left side of the neck is so unbearable that i start scratching. Then before i knew it, there are rashes on my neck. (Picture taken by Dear Dear)

I went to visit doctor Edmund on 5/10 to get some cream and was prescribed with Antibotic. My 1st dosage of antibotic was consumed on 6/10 monday morning after breakfast...guess what???in less than 1 hours i start running to toliet and start hugging the toliet bowl and vomit out my breakfast all the way until water(thanks god that i never told Bee Hoon for breakfast else i will be puking rubberband)...so disgusting...i feel so giddy that i sit outside the cubicle to rest. I took a cab home and visited the doctor again, he told me that i am probably allergy to the antibotic.

Preparation of Wedding invitation cards

Date : 1st October 2008

Time : 1pm to 6.30pm

Venue : HTB's house

Yuppee...finally have time to fold the card and tie the Golden strings. Together with Dear Dear, we folded and tie 220pieces of wedding cards.

We have chosen 3 designs as initial plan was to distribute red for relatives, sliver for Dear's friends and cream for my friends. However when we placed the 3 cards together, we preferred the red one.

Balloting for Upper Boon Keng 4room flat

Date: 26 September 2008

Being a loyal fan of http://www.hdb.gov.sg/, finally i get a chance to apply 4 room flat under HDB. Upper Boon Keng is my dream location as it was located near to Kallang MRT and 4 bus stop away from Jacky's parent place.

The Ballot result will only be out in end November and if i'm lucky will be issued with queue number to select the flat.

Pray hard that i will get my flat! (Xuanyi, you are assigned to be our Interior Designer in the event i get our flat...heehee)

Really hope to get my flat and my friends are most welcome to visit or stay overnight at my flat...party party..pot luck...pig out session...movie marathorn...May my wish come true!
