Dinner at Sin Huat Eating House

Dear Dear brought me to try out the Crab Bee Hoon at Sin Huat Eating House on 28 June 08. We reached there at around 6.40pm and ordered 1kg Scallop, 1kg Gong Gong and Crab Bee Hoon.

The scallop and Gong Gong are served to us after an hour of wait. It's my first time eating Gong Gong and I am quite sketipcal about trying it.In order to encourage me to try out, Dear Dear dig the fresh out from the shell, take away the claw and dip it in the house made chilli sauce. (That's the gentle and sweet side of him)
The Gong Gong is really yummy and chewy. (FYI: it's fresh from the fish tank)

After another hour of wait(yup that the time is 8.35pm), finally the Crab Bee Hoon arrive. The crab is fresh and freshy but not worth the wait.

The whole dining "experience" cost Dear Dear $124.

Thanks Dear for the treat!

My facial routine...1 hour

My best friend, Xue commented that I am kinda extreme when come to my weekly facial routine. No choice lor, because I do not have good face complexion to start with therefore must spend more time taking care of my face.

It cheer up my days when my friend (i have not met for quite some times) commented that my face complexion is better.

Yesterday, I spent one hour doing my weekly face care routine:

5 mins Cleansing the facial
10 mins ZA scrubbing cream
15 mins Kose Black Mask (peeling can lift off impurities on face)
20 mins Aloe Vera Moisturising mask (super shiok as peppermint feeling)
10 mins Put Toner, massage eye cream and put Beauty Credit Moisturiser

My Mum cooked White Fungus Longan dessert for me.
(FYI white fungus is the cheaper version of Bird Nest)

Thanks Mum for helping me to move a step closer to have good complexion.

Happy Sat...

I wore long sleeve tee (to protect myself from turning in a tanned bride) for my roller blading session with Xuan. The weather is real sunny (hot). Despite the usage of sun block, my face became tanned after blading for 1hours 20mins before heading back to Aljuni for Bak Kut Tea (my favourite store call Liang Ji Bak Kut Tea).

Yupee! Dear Dear join us for lunch so we could order more variety to try. (Fyi, we had Bak Kut Tea last weekend so normally Dear Dear don't like to repeat within a month as Geylang has lot of yummy foods.)

The trail make up session is fun and my make up artist, Cindy is very pretty and skilful. She also shared with me some useful beauty tips to prepare myself to be a Mei Mei bride in Nov.

Bugis junction is the good place to source for wedding rings as they have Lee Hwa, Goldheart, Citigems and Meyson. However my heart goes to Goldheart while Dear Dear goes for Lee Hwa.
We both agree to source around till we find the one.

The last episode of variety show...Journey to the West 3

Have always been a fan of Journey to the West 3 hosted by Belinda Lee.

For the past 10 weeks of wed, I will definitely stay at home to watch.

Yesterday, I was deeply touched by the volunteer worker, Alfinina who are working in Hope Village(Orphanage) in a Cambodia and Uncle George who is the man that start up the Orphanage. (Can't remember the name of the region in Cambodia)

Despite taking care of the orphans, she has to extend her love and lend a helping hand to the family member of the orphan. She has a BIG HEART!

Three Cheers and Three Cheers and Three Cheers for Alfinina!

As for me, I am planning a volunteer trip to Cambodia with my cousins - Hamburger and friends during the first quarter of 2009. Hope to help the less fortunte in any way we could ;0)

Luggage list...

Being a pure Singaporean, I must admit that I'm quite a Kiasu.

There are 2 more weeks before our departure to Bali for our outdoor shoot. Well being a "Gun Cheong" Spider, I draw up the luggage list for myself and HTB (Husband to Be) for this event, planning what to bring and what to wear after the shoot ;0)

We both planned to shop for the stuffs needed such as Black Leather shoes, Plain coloured shirted and Wedding Bands this coming Sat. The toughest in the shopping list is getting Wedding bands that suit both of us as we have different taste. Personally like this wedding band from Lee Hwa Jewellery but HTB doesn't really like the cut. However I am confident that we will definitely find the suitable one.
Looking forward to Sat shopping trip! Will definitely wear my most comfortable part of shoes.
